Our Mission
To promote, foster and perpetuate gymnastics as an educative and constructive recreational and competitive experience.
Gymnastics is an attractive and essential part of the development of basic athletic skills. In essence it is the foundation of all sport and recreational activities.
Forest City Gymnastics, a member club of Gymnastics Ontario, continually strives for excellence in the development and promotion of quality programs and services which encourage lifelong involvement for all participants.
Gymnastics is a sport that develops flexibility, strength, grace, discipline, control, co-ordination, goal orientation, confidence, creativity, leadership, a healthy body and positive self-esteem. An athlete’s goals and objectives can vary when participating in the sport of gymnastics. The goal may simply be to participate in a weekly gymnastics class for fun and fitness; or to compete on a competitive team. At FCGC we encourage all athletes to dream big, whether that is to be a Provincial Champion, to earn a College scholarship, to compete in a National or World Championship or even be on the Olympic team.
Recreational gym classes
Gymnastics is an ideal activity for everyone, regardless of age! It promotes physical activities that develop gross motor skills, spatial and body awareness, coordination, strength, power, flexibility, music awareness and creativity. With classes ranging from 18months to Adult, FCGC has a program for everyone!
Competitive gym classes
The greatest, most determined and disciplined gymnasts you can find facing the challenges of agility and strength!
